Addlinemedia ("we", "us", "our") provides a privacy-friendly, cookieless web analytics platform. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it — for both website owners who use Addlinemedia (our "customers") and the visitors to our customers' websites.

1. What We Collect From Website Visitors

Our tracking script is cookieless by default. When installed on a customer's website, it collects:

• Page URLs visited, referrer, and time spent on page
• Approximate location (country/city) derived from IP address — the IP address itself is not stored in identifiable form; it is hashed and/or used only momentarily for geolocation lookup
• Device type, browser, and operating system (from the browser's user-agent string)
• UTM campaign parameters, if present in the URL

We do not collect names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information about website visitors unless the visitor voluntarily submits it through a form on the customer's own website (which Addlinemedia itself does not process).

2. What We Collect From Our Customers (Account Holders)

• Account information: name and email address
• Website domains and tracking configuration you register with us
• Usage data: how you interact with the Addlinemedia dashboard, for support and product-improvement purposes

3. How We Use Data

• To provide and operate the analytics dashboard and reports
• To detect and filter bot/fraudulent traffic
• To improve and maintain the reliability of our service

4. Data Retention

Raw analytics data (pageviews, sessions) is retained for as long as your account remains active, or as configured in your account's data retention settings. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell visitor or customer data to third parties. We may share data with service providers strictly necessary to operate Addlinemedia (for example, our hosting provider), each bound by their own confidentiality obligations.

6. Cookies

Our visitor-tracking script does not use cookies by default. If cross-subdomain tracking is enabled by a customer for their own site, a first-party cookie limited to that domain may be used solely to recognize repeat visits within that domain.

7. Your Rights

If you are a Addlinemedia account holder, you can export or request deletion of your data from your account's Data & Privacy settings, or by contacting us directly. If you are a visitor to a site using Addlinemedia and have questions about that site's data practices, please contact that website's owner directly, as they control what is tracked on their site.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, hashed sensitive fields, access controls) to protect data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
